Employer of Record

What is EOR and what does it consist of?

An Employer of Record (EOR) in Italy is a company that hires employees on behalf of a client company that does not have a physical presence in the country. The EOR manages employment responsibilities, including HR tasks, compliance, benefits, and payroll, allowing the client to focus on business growth.

Peoitaly offers tailored services designed to address specific client needs, going beyond generic solutions. We prioritize employee well-being, ensuring that employees feel valued and secure. Our proactive approach identifies potential issues before they arise, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted business operations. As a licensed EOR provider, Peoitaly manages the complexities of employment on your behalf, offering reliable, expert guidance tailored to your business’s unique context.

Our services are designed to be adaptable to various sectors, providing customized solutions to meet diverse client needs.

Peoitaly offers exclusively open-ended employment contracts. We handle the drafting of employment contracts according to the client’s needs and applicable laws, ensuring compliance with Italian labor regulations.

The main advantages of using an EOR include flexibility in workforce management, cost-efficiency by avoiding the need to establish a local entity, reduced administrative burden as the EOR handles HR tasks, and compliance with local labor laws. This allows businesses to focus on their core activities while the EOR manages employment responsibilities.

Peoitaly, as a licensed EOR provider authorized by the Italian Ministry of Labor, ensures compliance with Italian labor laws. We manage the complexities of employment, including HR, compliance, benefits, and payroll, providing clients with peace of mind and allowing them to concentrate on business growth.

In the EOR context, “compliance” refers to adhering to local labor laws and regulations, including proper employee classification, tax withholding, social security contributions, and other legal requirements. Ensuring compliance helps prevent legal issues and financial penalties.

There is no strict limit on the number of workers you can hire through an EOR. However, to avoid the risk of creating a permanent establishment in Italy, it is advisable to keep the number of workers hired through the EOR to a minimum and avoid activities that would require paying corporate taxes in Italy.

Peoitaly can set up the EOR service as quickly as 24 hours, provided that the commercial terms are agreed upon. Once the agreement is in place, we handle the administrative aspects of employment, allowing for a swift start.

If a client wishes to terminate the employment contract, they must first terminate the service contract with Peoitaly. We then have the obligation to check the possibility of leasing the worker to another client. If this is not possible, the we must facilitate and manage a specific training path lasting six months. At the end of this period, if we have not found a new client to lease the worker to, we can proceed with termination, providing the appropriate notice.

Yes, Peoitaly can offer leased workers benefits such as a company car, corporate phone and SIM, fuel card, credit card, Telepass, meal vouchers, and more.

Yes, Peoitaly offers HR support to workers, managing various aspects of the employment relationship, including administrative management, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Human Resources Outsourcing

What does HR Outsourcing consist of?

Human Resource Outsourcing (HRO) involves partnering with an external provider to manage various HR functions of your business. This can range from handling specific tasks like payroll and recruitment to managing all HR processes, depending on your company’s needs. Peoitaly offers comprehensive HRO solutions tailored to help international companies navigate the complexities of the Italian labor market.

The HRO process with Peoitaly begins by identifying your business’s specific HR needs. We analyze and audit your current HR practices to determine the best approach for creating an efficient HR workflow. Based on this assessment, Peoitaly curates a customized HR plan that aligns with your business objectives, ensuring compliance with local regulations and facilitating your strategic growth.

HRO is suitable for companies that have an established legal entity in Italy (or want to establish one) and seek assistance in managing specific HR functions or the entire HR department. Peoitaly will manage the HR functions you choose to outsource, which can include talent acquisition, background screening, recruitment and onboarding, risk management, performance management, payroll and tax administration, employee training, and relocation services. We provide tailor-made solutions to ensure compliance with local regulations and support your business’s growth.

The duration of Peoitaly’s HRO services depends on your company’s specific needs and the terms agreed upon in the partnership. We offer flexible arrangements to accommodate both short-term projects and long-term collaborations.
